I was so excited to do these DIY Suncatchers with my son, and they turned out wonderful and easy to make. Here is what you need:

DIY Suncatchers

Butter or yogurt Lids

Suction Cups With Hooks (Optional) You can use string and tie it to your window latch.

Elmer’s Clear Liquid School Glue, Slime Glue, & Craft Glue

Mini Glass Gems,Mixed Colour Mancala Stones Flat Bottom

HOW TO MAKE A DIY SUNCATCHER:

DIY Suncatchers

We had to complete these glass suncatchers in stages, because he seemed to panic when I poured the liquid. That’s why you can see him holding a paintbrush in the photo.

But you can pour the glue in the yogurt container lid. Due to the glue’s large shrinkage during the drying, you can definitely use more than you initially anticipate. (trial an error on our part :))

Get them to cover the whole lid with different colors

Add more glue to your suncatchers so gems don’t fall out,

and let it dry. It takes around 3 to 4 days, then peel it

out of the lid.

DIY Suncatchers

Tada!
