My sons teacher contacted me one day and introduced me to OSMO. William was very engaged, and enjoyed the games so I purchase it and try it out myself. After a few minutes of playing the interactive games with William, I could see why his teacher recommended it. The OSMO system combines real-life objects with digital gameplay, making learning fun and engaging for kids.
OSMO offers different modules for various subjects such as math, coding, science, and art. Each module comes with its own set of physical pieces that interact with the iPad screen through a reflective mirror attached to the front camera. This unique feature allows kids to manipulate objects in the real world while seeing their actions reflected on the screen.
The math module, for example, uses physical number tiles to help children learn addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in a hands-on way. The coding module teaches basic coding concepts by having kids arrange physical blocks
Osmo games are amazing! They are fun and educational, with real handheld pieces and a Fire Tablet (no WiFi needed). An Osmo Base is included, a Fire Tablet is not included, both are required for game play. When a child plays a game, their pieces and actions become real (no WiFi needed). By drawing lines, placing items, drawing shapes, solving physics puzzles, and creating art, children learn to draw anything. This makes learning to draw much more fun and exciting.
What OSMO Can Do
I found OSMO to be really helpful and entertaining in teaching my son how to play various games. It is an amazing way to keep their brains active, as they can use their imaginations and figure out how to complete the puzzles. The variety of tasks keeps the boredom at bay and the exercises are age-appropriate and even kids with autism. The interface is easy to use and provides clear instructions on how to play each game. I highly recommend OSMO for parents who want to enrich their children’s educational experience.
OSMO is also perfect for improving creativity, problem-solving, spatial relations, and numerical thinking. It is also great for teaching basic math concepts, such as counting and spelling. I absolutely loved the different activities you can even add-they were all very fun and engaging.
Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, you will thank me for this one. OSMO is a terrific product to buy and a life saver at any holidays and birthdays because you don’t have spend hours wondering what they are into, all you have to do is just purchase another OSMO game to add.
